Who? -Authors and Scientists

British people have for a long time been quite successful, and there are indeed a lot of famous people from Britain. It would take way to long to list them all, but I will pick some of my own favorites and present them to you here. In this blog post I will only show you the Scientists and the Authors, but I will make more blogposts on the subject of 'who'.

Authors

As I enjoy reading both new and older literature, I do not find it hard to pick out five notable authors, it is hard not to mention at least ten of them. We've got Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, J.R.R Tolkien, Agatha Christie, C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling and Percy Bysshe Shelley. These are all favorites of mine, and I would suggest that you should check them out if you haven't already.

Scientists

There are a lot of British scientists, there's Charles Darwin who developed the theory of evolution and Sir Isaac Newton who formulated gravity. These guys lived a while ago, but there's more modern mens of science. We've got Sir Alexander Fleming for example who discovered penicillin and won the Nobel prince in 1945, and as well Stephen Hawking. Hawking is a physicist who is known for his theories about the origin of the universe.

This is Isaac Newton, what a lovley man. I wonder what shampoo he used? :)
