Britain has a lot of interesting historic events, and it would be very hard to include them all in a blogpost . It would in fact be impossible, it is simply to many happenings, and they're basically just wars and invasions. But I will do my best and give you a short summary of the history of Britain. I have split the history into nine different periods of time, starting with the pre-history.
Pre-history, everything B.C to 43 A.D
During this time period of time Britain was the home of the Celts, a folk group that had immigrated to the land from Europe. The Celts was divided into several different groups, and they fought a lot between each other. Stonehenge, one of most know landmarks in Britain, was built in the course of this time. Some conspiration theorists argue that Stonehenge is not built buy humans but that it's actually parts of an alien space ship. I can only laugh at that theory.

Ancient Rome gets involved, 44-410 A.D
The Romans had tried to conquer Britain earlier on, but it was not until the year 44 A.D that they succeeded. There was a lot os soldiers in Britain during this period of time, their mission was mostly to keep the people calm, because there was quite many troublemakers among the unhappy natives. The roman empire started to fall into pieces not many years later, and the collapse was fact.
The Middle ages, 410-1485 AD
The middle ages was not a quiet and calm period of time. Britain consisted from the start of several small kingdoms that all fought each other, and there were loads of wars. It was also during the beginning of this course of time that the Vikings from Scandinavia came and robbed the habitants of Britain. These events, together with the Black death that spread the nation later on was not the ideal situation for a country.
